Painting the Cliff View

It's an actual cloudy day and kind of cool, so I took the time to contemplate my warm-up cliff paintings and what I need to do with them so that they're closer to what I'm aiming for.  

I took that photo of the guy fishing against the yellow sunset sky and worked on the painted yupo paper.

The painting as it is ... as of now. 

This was the early stage of the painting, with more emphasis on the sky and less on the water. and less on the cliff tops.   Hmmm.  Not sure this doesn't deserve further iterations to explore the options.
